Taking advantage of friends in North Berwick

There are three great things about having friends to visit. The first, and most obvious one, is it gives the chance to catch up with old friends. The second is that it encourages you to get out and visit places locally you might not otherwise be heading to. And the third is that it gives a ready source of willing models for taking some off-the-wall photographs!

Thanks to Dea and Adam visiting, we actually managed to make it to the top of Arthur’s Seat in a dramatic thunderstorm. Not the place you normally find us on a Saturday afternoon. Then the day after, a trip to the seaside, to North Berwick. And of course we took our cameras. It was quite an international outing as Dea is a Hungarian concert violinist, and Adam is an American photo editor for a well known news agency, both of them live in Berlin. As you can see from the pictures, we had some fun!

Thanks Sandra, the blog’s quite new, and it’s fun to keep up, a bit like a diary. I don’t know why we didn’t start one earlier!
