Earlier this month we photographed our first wedding at Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Gardens. Our bride and groom, Aileen and Niall, have a great appreciation for the natural world, so it was the perfect location for them. It’s amazing how we can live in a city with such a wonderful attraction, and not go back there…
One of our favourite venues is Winton House, in Pencaitland. Morag and William had their wedding in Winton Cottage, in the grounds of the House. The setting and landscape, with the Lammermuirs on the horizon, is beautiful, and so are the bride and groom! Here are some of our favourite photos from the day:
Today Simon is walking a few inches off the floor and stopping everyone he meets in the street – a passing policeman, a French poodle (slight exaggeration here), anyone in fact who will listen – to show them the latest issue of the Economist’s Intelligent Life magazine. It has 12 whole pages devoted to his photo essay on ballet in Ukraine….
